Audrey Hepburn was nominated for a total of five Oscars throughout her career, all in the leading actress category. Her only acting win came in 1953, for Roman Holiday, and she won the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award posthumously in 1993.
Audrey's first Oscar nomination came for her performance as Princess Ann/Anya in the 1953 classic Roman Holiday. She received further nominations for Sabrina (1954), The Nun's Story (1959), Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961), and Wait Until Dark (1967).
Furthermore, Audrey presented the Oscar for Best Picture on four occasions: she presented the Oscar for Best Picture to Marty (1955), The Apartment (1960), A Man for All Seasons (1966), and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975). She was the second-most person to have the honour of presenting the biggest award of the night. Jack Nicholson has presented the award eight times, Audrey and Warren Beatty have each presented it four times.

She also presented the Oscar for Best Actor to her My Fair Lady co-star Rex Harrison in 1964. It's a very touching moment, one that I love to re-watch every once in a while. Her genuine happiness at his win, his true admiration for her, given that he keeps her next to him throughout his acceptance speech...it's a tender moment.
She again presented the Oscar for Best Actor in 1967 to Rod Steiger for In the Heat of the Night.
Audrey received a posthumous Oscar in 1993, mere months after her untimely death, for her humanitarian work on behalf of UNICEF. At the ceremony, her dear friend Gregory Peck presented the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award to her son, Sean Hepburn Ferrer.
