What I Watched in February

An overview of what I watched in February.

Death Becomes Her (1992)

This is perfection.

[I'm including it because in my twisted way of classifying Old Hollywood, I include any modern films by actors who started out in the Golden Age. Thank you, Goldie Hawn!]

Design for Living (1933)

The original Challengers, amirite? Jokes aside, I quite loved this!

Overboard (1987)

This is a horror movie, pure and simple.

Santa Fe Trail (1940)

The chemistry between Olivia de Havilland and Errol Flynn was off the charts insane. But plot-wise, it's very difficult, in Michelle Obama's 2025, to watch a movie where the Confederates are the heroes and the man wanting to abolish slavery is the bad guy.

It Happened at the World's Fair (1963)

Each movie watched is one less movie to watch

I have, if I'm counting right, nine Elvis movies left, and if I get my wish, I'm going to end with Paradise, Hawaiian Style (1966) so that I can at least, like I did with Blue Hawaii, appreciate the Hawaiian landscape!

ALSO WATCHED:

Sally of the Sawdust (1925)
Cairo (1942)
Lady for a Day (1933)
Marie Antoinette (1938)
Romeo and Juliet (1936)
