Audrey Hepburn A-Z: Z is for...

Z is for...Zodiac

Here we are at the end of Audrey Hepburn A-Z! Let's take a look at the stars behind this star as we wrap up this series.

Audrey Hepburn was born on May 4, 1929, making her a Taurus. Though she wasn't a known follower of astrology and horoscopes, that doesn't mean we can't poke around at what this might have meant for her life.

According to Horoscope.com, Tauruses are "smart, ambitious, and trustworthy" and "the anchor of the Zodiac." They're "amazing friends, colleagues and partners" who value honesty and love that their relationships aren't filled with drama. Their first dates may be considered job interviews because they're "simply trying to see if you're a good fit from the start."

The sign of Taurus is a bull, which may make them stubborn, but they're steadfast in their opinions unless they have their own change of heart. Their greatest strength is their willpower, which sums up Audrey to a tee. "They push, roll over, and dominate whatever challenges they're facing until those challenges are history. They're also a model for perseverance—when a Bull decides to do something, they get it done."

Everything Audrey, a great Audrey resource, posted a version of her birth chart (though there are dozens of them online) to illustrate how it pertained to her.

Her sun sign was Taurus, but her moon sign was Pieces, which meant, "Kind, gentle and considerate of the feelings of others, you are good at taking care of the sick, wounded and helpless." Her rising sign was Aquarius, "Very sympathetic toward the downtrodden, equality is your battle cry! You demand that those in authority be fair to all. You are an intellectual — emotions and emotional people are difficult for you to understand. You are known for being calm, cool, detached and objective."

Given Audrey's focus on UNICEF and humanitarian causes later in life, this comes as no surprise.

And that's a wrap on Audrey Hepburn A-Z! I hope you've enjoyed this year-long look into the life of my favourite actress. Hopefully I've changed a few opinions or converted new fans. If even one of you watched an Audrey Hepburn movie, or read a book about her, as a result, then I'm "truly grateful and terribly happy."
