Summer Under the Stars: Robert Mitchum
Star of the Day: Robert Mitchum
Blood on the Moon (1948) - "Unemployed cowhand Jim Garry is hired by his dishonest friend Tate Riling as muscle in a dispute between homesteaders and cattleman John Lufton."
Robert Mitchum was a master of noir and it's always fun to watch him take the screen. Westerns aren't usually my jam, but the description for this one appealed to me, and I thought his performance as the outsider trying to solve a conflict between the homesteaders and the cattlemen was excellent.
