I love the grandeur and the spectacle of these mid-century musicals and I love Fred Astaire (so much so that this, somehow, was the only one of his films featured yesterday that I haven't seen) and Leslie Caron and I love love, and I'm trying not think about the age gap here because... that's the only downside to this charming, charming movie.
