This was a tense war movie, and Woody plays an interesting part in it. As someone who admittedly hasn't seen many of Woody's films, I looked him up and let me tell you, reading his Wikipedia page was a ride, he lived such a fascinating life. I also loved the tidbit shared by TCM on social media: that Woody from Toy Story was named in his honour.
