My friggin heart! All this little feller needed was a friend and his whole family failed him (except Uncle Jonas). His father was cold and mean, his mother never stood up for him, and his cousin Froggie needed a punch in the mouth sooner than he got one. 

I chose this one because it's a Pre-Code and because I can't watch movies where the dogs are the main characters (so Skippy's out). I'd definitely recommend it.
