This was a very powerful movie and I'm kind of ashamed I hadn't seen it earlier. All of the performances were fantastic and the message is important. It's just a shame that in the nearly 40 years since there hasn't been much change. 

I read Ossie Davis's Wikipedia page last night too, what a life! And Ruby Dee! Love them.
