Ah, the old classic hooker-with-a-heart-of-gold storyline...
I've enjoyed watching Melina Mercouri in movies like Topkapi, so she was a delight here as well, but I kept hoping she'd knock Homer (pompously played by her real-life husband Jules Dassin) into the Aegean Sea.
