31 Days of Oscars: On Golden Pond

A cap on the acting careers of Katharine Hepburn and Henry Fonda.

source unknown

This is a very sedate, character driven film that works because of the wonderful acting on display from Katharine Hepburn and Henry Fonda, and the ingenuity of Jane Fonda in making it all happen with her father. While it's not exactly a blockbuster, it's still very much worth watching, if only to see Henry Fonda's curtain call and Katharine Hepburn's record-breaking fourth Oscar-winning performance.
