Summer Under the Stars: Cary Grant
Star of the Day: Cary Grant
Crisis (1950) - An American doctor gets caught in the middle of a revolution when he's forced to operate on a South American dictator.
What do you do when you've seen all the Cary Grant movies on the daytime/evening (Canadian) schedule? You DVR the one obscure movie you haven't seen that's playing at 3:15 am. I think for someone as suave as Cary Grant, it's fun to watch him in any genre. I didn't particularly care for Crisis, though it does pose interesting ethical questions, but I did enjoy Cary.
Highlights yesterday: To Catch a Thief, Charade, Talk of the Town and His Girl Friday. I would've loved to have seen Bringing Up Baby again, but alas, Canadian TCM doesn't get that movie.
