Inside Carla Naples's Apartment (ROCK-A-BYE BABY)

Boy, if I was a famous actress, the way I'd decorate my apartment, I tell ya...

Probably wouldn't be unlike Carla Naples (aka Marilyn Maxwell) in Rock-a-Bye Baby, honestly.

When I watched this movie on Jerry Lewis Day during Summer Under the Stars, I knew that I wanted to make a post about the interiors, but I was more focused on the house Jerry Lewis's character lives in back in their hometown.

But then rewatching it to make this post, yeah sure, Jerry's character's place is nice but hello! how did I forget how frothy and girly Carla's place is?! So all due respect to Jerry Lewis, I'm focusing on Carla's apartment.

Granted, we don't see much of Carla's apartment, but what we do is so glam.

Imagine having a full-size portrait of yourself on the entryway wall?

We spend the most time with Carla in her bedroom and for good reason: it's gorgeous. I love the ribbon-stripe pink wallpaper and all of the pink accents dotting the room. The lampshade is to die for.

And the silver bathroom? Have mercy on me, I want it so bad! Also a big fan of the starburst doorknobs.

The wallpaper extends into the closet, which is just so chic. I wish I owned and didn't rent, I'd have wallpaper up all over.

Rotary phone!

Lord give me a lounger like Carla's and a widow's robe.

A piano.

Artwork in the entryway.

Another angle of Carla's bedroom. The skirt on the vanity table and the divider... please give me this apartment!
